• Iowa DNR Geological Survey – Best source of geological information in Iowa since the Survey budget has been severely cut. Popular project write-ups, general geology and detailed maps of study areas are provided. Links to other geological surveys, NASA, US Fish & Wildlife, and water resources are provided.
• US Geological Survey – Climate change study, ecosystem evaluation natural hazards, regional water shortages and publications are highlighted; maps and imagery are available.
